Testimonial
"Mother has settled in very nicely into her apartment and I now have a minute to breathe. She is delighted that she is surrounded by her cherished possessions and has the security of help if the need were to arise again. Her independence has always been very important to her and she is content feeling that she is still very independent. Your assistance was invaluable to our family."

Veterans, spouses or widows: Are you eligible for the Veterans Administration (VA) Aid & Attendance Program?
Did you know that U.S. veterans are entitled to health benefit programs from the federal government? However, few take advantage of the Non-Service Connected Improved Pension Benefit, commonly referred to as the "Aid and Attendance" benefits program. The program's purpose is to assist veterans as well as spouses or widows with paying their out-of-pocket medical expenses. VA considers the program as one of the department's most underutilized offerings.
To qualify for this important benefit, the veteran, either alive or deceased, must have served ninety consecutive days ACTIVE duty with at least one day during wartime with an honorable discharge.
For additional information about this VA benefit, contact the Union Plus Eldercare Program at 1-866-570-8588.
