Discount Agreement Instructions

The special discount agreement below can be used as the contract between the business supplying a discount to your members and the union. This agreement should be used along with the "special benefits letter," also found in the Print Shop, which will describe the discount in detail. Please note that in some instances that a business will shy away from the more formal contract language of this agreement. In that case, the "special benefits letter" can be used as the only written document between the vendor and the union. However, you should attempt to use this agreement if possible.

You can either type in changes to the template or print out the blank template and write in the appropriate information.

Insert the name of the business, noted as vendor, and the name of the union.
Include the start and end dates of the agreement.
Print the document out by selecting print. Print on union letterhead.
You can save the document by moving it into one of the folders on your computer.
Have a representative of the business and a representative of the union sign and date the document.
Have the governing body of the union review and approve the document.
